The service

LumaGuard is software that reviews screen activity on child devices you own or control and emails you when its AI classifies something as unsafe. It costs $9.99/month or $79/year.

What it is, and is not

LumaGuard is a safety aid. It is not a guarantee, not a professional assessment, and not a substitute for talking with your child or, where needed, a counselor or the authorities. The AI misclassifies things sometimes: it can miss a risk and it can flag something harmless. Treat alerts as a prompt to look, not a verdict.

Your responsibilities

• Only install the agent on devices you own or are legally responsible for, and follow the laws of your area about monitoring children, which vary by place and by age.
• Keep your account email accurate. Alerts go there.
• Do not use LumaGuard to monitor another adult without their consent.

Billing and cancellation

Monthly plans bill every month, yearly plans once a year, both through Stripe. Cancel any time and the service runs until the end of the period you paid for. No partial-period refunds, no cancellation fee.

Availability

We aim for the agent to check on the interval you set, but email delivery, the AI service, or the internet can lag or fail. Early access especially is a work in progress. If something is broken, tell us, we would rather hear about it twice than never.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, LumaGuard is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use LumaGuard after that means you accept the change.
